If you already have a doctor that you see regularly, you’ll want to make sure they’re included in your Medicare Advantage plan. While all plans are required to provide coverage for basic services, not all plans include the same doctors and clinics.
If you’re enrolled in an HMO plan, you’ll only be covered for services provided by doctors and clinics in the insurer’s network. PPO plans have a larger network of providers, but you’ll still want to check to see if your doctor is included.
