Part D Prescription Drug Plans
A Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Medicare Part D) add drug coverage to the Original Medicare, some Medicare Cost Plans, some Medicare Private Fee-for-Service Plans, and Medicare medical savings account Plans. These plans are offered by insurance companies and other private companies approved by Medicare.
Creditable prescription drug coverage is coverage thats standard prescription drug coverage. This includes certain employer or union health coverage, Medicare Cost Plans, Medicaid, Children’s why its cover all drugs. Each plan has its own list of covered drugs, called a formulary.

What is the cost?
The amount you pay for your prescription drug coverage depends on which plan you choose, the drugs you need, and whether you get Extra Help.
You usually pay a monthly premium for your drug coverage. You may also have to pay an annual deductible and copayments or coinsurance for your prescriptions.
